Welcome to the 6th Symposium on Phospholipids in Pharmaceutical Research!

The Phospholipid Research Center celebrates the 6th International Symposium on Phospholipids in Pharmaceutical Research on September 9 – 10, 2019 in Heidelberg, Germany. In accordance to our vision “Connecting the World of Phospholipids”, we focus this year mainly on stimulating discussions between academia and industry. Phospholipids have unique properties and benefits in pharmaceutical applications, which means, that exciting presentations, conversations and awards can be expected. The symposium is intended to bring together phospholipid scientists from all over the world, offering the opportunity to initiate exciting discussions and long-term collaborations.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Heidelberg in September!

Early Bird
Students can apply for an early bird travel grant up to 150 Euro. The travel grand depends on the total travel costs (please send a copy of student ID). Students who are already supported by the PRC are excluded. Please notice that the number of registration funds is limited.

Welcome Reception & Conference Dinner at Schwetzingen Palace

We would like to invite you to join our Welcome Reception at the beautiful Schwetzingen Palace, on September 9, evening. A delicious dinner is served in a unique ambience.
There is a shuttle service from Chester Hotel to Schwetzingen Palace and from Schwetzingen Palace back to Heidelberg main station.

Heidelberg is a beautiful old town in the shadow of the ruins of Heidelberg castle. Known for its university and castle, Heidelberg celebrates both the old and the new, making it the perfect place for everyone. Heidelberg is located on the southwest side of Germany, about one hour south of Frankfurt and one hour north of Stuttgart. Thus, it is a central location and easy to reach by public transport.
