Welcome to the 6th International Symposium on Phospholipids in Pharmaceutical Research!

 

The Phospholipid Research Center celebrates its 6th International Symposium on Phospholipids in Pharmaceutical Research on September 9–10, 2019 in Heidelberg, Germany. In accordance to our vision “Connecting the World of Phospholipids”, the focus will be on stimulating discussions between academia and industry. Since phospholipids have unique properties and benefits in pharmaceutical applications, exciting presentations, discussions and awards can be expected. The symposium is intended to bring together phospholipid scientists from all over the world, offering the opportunity to initiate in-depth discussions and long-term collaborations.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Heidelberg in September!

Early Bird

Students can apply for an early bird travel grant up to 150 Euro. The travel grant depends on the total travel costs (please send a copy of student ID). Students who are already supported by the PRC are excluded. Please note that the number of travel grants is limited.

Conference Dinner at Schwetzingen Palace

We would like to invite you to join our Welcome Reception at the beautiful Schwetzingen Palace, on September 9, evening. A delicious dinner is served in a unique ambience.
There is a shuttle service from Chester Hotel to Schwetzingen Palace and from Schwetzingen Palace back to Heidelberg main station with hotel stops.

Heidelberg is a beautiful old town in the shadow of the ruins of Heidelberg castle. Known for its university and castle, Heidelberg celebrates both the old and the new, making it the perfect place for everyone. Heidelberg is located in the southwest part of Germany, about one hour by car/train south of Frankfurt and one hour north of Stuttgart. It is therefore a central location that is easy to reach by car or public transport. General travel and accommodation recommendation can be made available to you.
